Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic School
St. Joseph Catholic School is a school where all are welcome. In 2018 it was decided that any child, regardless of income, deserves a Catholic education if they would like one. So, the board of directors and the parish decided on a parish-funded tuition. This means there is no cost to attend St. Joseph Catholic School. The school provides:
- a balanced, faith-based curriculum
- high academic achievements
- small class sizes for one on one assistance
- a safe environment
- strong ethics and morals
- community involvement, and
- arts and athletics

What St. Joseph Catholic School is all about
St. Joseph School Mission
Working with parents and using the resources of the Diocese of Madison, community, and faculty, St. Joseph School of Sinsinawa, located in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin, seeks to direct, facilitate, and coordinate learning with the classrooms while witnessing to the central beliefs of our Catholic faith.
Balanced, Faith Based Curriculum
Our school is located just a few miles between Dubuque, IA and Hazel Green, WI, near the Sinsinawa Mound. Our certified, dedicated teachers are committed to carrying out the ministry of teaching God's Good News to students in three-year-old kindergarten up to grade eight, with daily religion class and participation in weekly mass.
Our teacher to student ratio is 1:10 and we have volunteers from families, the Dominican Sisters, and UW-Platteville students.
Parish-Funded Tuition
New in the 2018-2019 school year is Parish-Funded Tuition. The restructure will reduce all Kindergarten through 8th grade tuition to $0 and all school operating costs will be covered by fundraising efforts and through general parish support.
